PCB Footprints

Each of the SensorDots can be mounted with either SMD solder pads, or standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch connectors. All units are in mm. These footprints are available as various EDA parts in the repository as well.

SMD Solder Pad Pattern

SMD mounting is useful for integrating SensorDots into various hardware designs. The following is the recommended solder pad layout for SMD mounting:

2.54mm Pitch Connector Holes

Using a standard 2.54mm connector makes it easy to connect your SensorDot to breadboards for development, allow for removal and replacement from any design or provides flexibility with placement by using wires or right angle connectors.
